W.E. Build helps founders advance their professional development, achieve personal growth, and build companies that catalyze multigenerational wealth.

The W.E. Build accelerator empowers eight to 10 innovative and diverse early-stage startups to create and launch scalable ventures in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

W.E. Build seeks to uplift women founders who are often left out of funding opportunities. In 2023 Female Founded companies received less than 3% of venture capital funding, Black women and other minority women received less than that. W.E. Build is rewriting that narrative.

Program Details

The W.E. BUILD Program Requirements

Applicants must be from Tulsa, OK, or willing to relocate to Tulsa for the program’s duration (August 5, 2025 - November 13, 2025).
Must have an incorporated business that has been operational for at least 12 months.
Businesses should have raised less than $1M in venture or angel funding and demonstrate a clear pathway to scaling revenue.
Participants must be able to commit full-time to the program in Tulsa, Oklahoma from August 5, 2025 to November 13, 2025.

FAQs

If I’m not from Tulsa, can I travel back home on the weekends?

Yes, but we encourage you to spend as much time in Tulsa as you can. The founders who get the most out of their accelerator experiences are those who truly connect with the city, its people, and our partners. And to do that you have to be in Tulsa consistently.

Do you provide housing?

W.E Build provides a housing stipend of $1,000 per month (for a total of $4,000) to help you make ends meet while you are in the program and focused on growing your business. Build in Tulsa does not provide housing to founders in the W.E. Build program. We can provide you with some recommendations on where to live, but housing is up to you.

When will the W.E. Build accelerator begin?

The W.E. Build program will begin in Tulsa, OK on August 5, 2025. The program will end on November 13, 2025.

Can I participate in another accelerator while I’m in W.E. Build?

It’s not ideal. We expect you to put in 30+ hours a week into this program. This is a big commitment and we fully expect you to give it your all, be present, and fully engaged.

Do I have to give up ownership of my business to participate in W.E. Build?

No. Build in Tulsa doesn’t take any equity in your business. The $25,000 is a non-dilutive business award provided to help you grow your business.
